City of Florence Track & Cross Country Program - Florence Track Club • Register • View Cart •

The Florence Track Club is made up of volunteer coaches, parents, and youth athletes ages 6 to 18 who participate in USATF sanctioned Jr. Olympic Track & Field and Cross Country events. Playing age is the participant’s age on December 31, 2025. Exception is made if the participant will turn 19 after the USATF National Meet. The program is in association with the City of Florence Parks and Recreation Department.

Participants compete in club-sponsored events around the state of South Carolina. The fee to participate is $55, with an additional $10 fee for non-residents. Registration is conducted online, or by going to the Recreation Department’s administrative offices located at the Barnes Street Activity Center.

2025 Track & Field Season

  • REGISTRATION HAS BEEN RE-OPENED FOR AGES 13-18. NOTE THAT ALL REGISTRATIONS TAKEN PLACE AFTER APRIL 4TH WILL NO LONGER COME WITH A SHIRT.
  • Communications with Track Club Coaches takes place via SportsYou. Please see the instructions to register below.

Parent Meeting - March 24th at 6:30pm at Pearl Moore Basketball Center

Practices will begin March 25 at Florence Sports Complex Track

Practices will be Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6:15pm-7:45pm. (Times subject to change)

Events offered include:
Ages 6-8:   shot put, javelin, long jump, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500
Ages 9-10: shot put, javelin, long jump, high jump, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, race walking
Ages 11+:  shot put, javelin, discus, long jump, high jump, hurdles, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000, race walking
