The Florence Track Club is made up of volunteer coaches, parents, and youth athletes ages 6 to 18 who participate in USATF sanctioned Jr. Olympic Track & Field and Cross Country events. Playing age is the participant’s age on December 31, 2025. Exception is made if the participant will turn 19 after the USATF National Meet. The program is in association with the City of Florence Parks and Recreation Department.Participants compete in club-sponsored events around the state of South Carolina. The fee to participate is $55, with an additional $10 fee for non-residents. Registration is conducted online, or by going to the Recreation Department’s administrative offices located at the Barnes Street Activity Center. To receive information about practices, meets, cancellations, etc., you can sign up for Florence Track Club notifications on SportsYou. The City of Florence provides a safe and supportive environment for children ages 6–12 (grades K–6) through our after-school program. Designed to promote growth and community involvement, the program offers structured, fun activities that keep children engaged and safe. We operate four centers: Levy Youth Center, Mordecia C. Johnson Center, Dr. Iola Jones Center, Maple Park Center.Our program provides an afternoon snack and a quiet environment for completing homework. Program hours are strictly enforced from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. A late fee of $5.00 per child will be applied if a child is not picked up by 5:45 PM, with an additional charge of $1.00 per child for every minute thereafter until pickup. Children will not be permitted to return to the program until the late fee is paid at the Administration Office, located at 513 Barnes Street. The program fee is $12 per child.Transportation to and from After School Care is NOT provided.

It focuses on instilling respect and discipline through the practice of boxing, while also teaching fundamental boxing skills in a structured and supportive environment. The program encourages personal growth, self-confidence, and physical fitness, offering youth a positive outlet for energy and fostering a sense of responsibility in a safe environment.In addition to the youth program, the Florence Boxing Program also provides adults with the opportunity to work out and enhance their fitness by utilizing various boxing techniques. Whether participants are new to boxing or experienced, the program caters to all skill levels, offering a well-rounded workout that improves strength, endurance, and overall health.

The City of Florence provides a safe and supportive environment for children ages 6–12 (grades K–6) through our after-school program. Designed to promote growth and community involvement, the program offers structured, fun activities that keep children engaged and safe. We operate four centers: Levy Youth Center, Mordecia C. Johnson Center, Dr. Iola Jones Center, Maple Park Center.Our program provides an afternoon snack and a quiet environment for completing homework. Program hours are strictly enforced from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. A late fee of $5.00 per child will be applied if a child is not picked up by 5:45 PM, with an additional charge of $1.00 per child for every minute thereafter until pickup. Children will not be permitted to return to the program until the late fee is paid at the Administration Office, located at 513 Barnes Street. The program fee is $12 per child.Transportation to and from After School Care is NOT provided.

The Florence Track Club is made up of volunteer coaches, parents, and youth athletes ages 6 to 18 who participate in USATF sanctioned Jr. Olympic Track & Field and Cross Country events. Playing age is the participant’s age on December 31, 2025. Exception is made if the participant will turn 19 after the USATF National Meet. The program is in association with the City of Florence Parks and Recreation Department.Participants compete in club-sponsored events around the state of South Carolina. The fee to participate is $55, with an additional $10 fee for non-residents. The Florence Track Club is made up of volunteer coaches, parents, and youth athletes ages 6 to 18 who participate in USATF sanctioned Jr. Olympic Track & Field and Cross Country events. Playing age is the participant’s age on December 31, 2025. Exception is made if the participant will turn 19 after the USATF National Meet. The program is in association with the City of Florence Parks and Recreation Department.Participants compete in club-sponsored events around the state of South Carolina. The fee to participate is $55, with an additional $10 fee for non-residents. The Florence Track Club is made up of volunteer coaches, parents, and youth athletes ages 6 to 18 who participate in USATF sanctioned Jr. Olympic Track & Field and Cross Country events. Playing age is the participant’s age on December 31, 2025. Exception is made if the participant will turn 19 after the USATF National Meet. The program is in association with the City of Florence Parks and Recreation Department.Participants compete in club-sponsored events around the state of South Carolina. The fee to participate is $55, with an additional $10 fee for non-residents. Registration is conducted online, or by going to the Recreation Department’s administrative offices located at the Barnes Street Activity Center. To receive information about practices, meets, cancellations, etc., you can sign up for Florence Track Club notifications on SportsYou. There is a separate preschool room outfitted with small-scale equipment adapted to better accommodate younger children. The Florence Boxing Program is designed for children aged 7-17 who are currently enrolled in school. It focuses on instilling respect and discipline through the practice of boxing, while also teaching fundamental boxing skills in a structured and supportive environment. The program encourages personal growth, self-confidence, and physical fitness, offering youth a positive outlet for energy and fostering a sense of responsibility in a safe environment.In addition to the youth program, the Florence Boxing Program also provides adults with the opportunity to work out and enhance their fitness by utilizing various boxing techniques. You will find that our innovated program full of uniquely structured classes are packed with high energy and fun! In addition to teaching gymnastics, Florence Gymnastics curriculum focuses on playground readiness, general athletic preparation for other sports, and character development.Participants will learn not only athletic skills but they will also learn life-skills that will help them develop as teens, young adults and adults.The center is a 12,000 square foot air-conditioned building with many different types of gymnastics features, such as a 20×20 loose-foam training pit, a 8×30 bar training pit, a 42×42 spring tumbling floor, multiple sets of uneven bars, balance beams, vaulting tables, a 25 foot tumble track, parallel bars, rings, and several additional learning aids. There is a separate preschool room outfitted with small-scale equipment adapted to better accommodate younger children. The City of Florence provides a safe and supportive environment for children ages 6–12 (grades K–6) through our after-school program. Designed to promote growth and community involvement, the program offers structured, fun activities that keep children engaged and safe. We operate four centers: Levy Youth Center, Mordecia C. Johnson Center, Dr. Iola Jones Center, Maple Park Center.Our program provides an afternoon snack and a quiet environment for completing homework. Program hours are strictly enforced from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. A late fee of $5.00 per child will be applied if a child is not picked up by 5:45 PM, with an additional charge of $1.00 per child for every minute thereafter until pickup. Children will not be permitted to return to the program until the late fee is paid at the Administration Office, located at 513 Barnes Street. The program fee is $12 per child.Transportation to and from After School Care is NOT provided.
