Teen Lock In
Back to School Teen Boys Basketball Lock-In Registration
The City of Florence Parks, Recreation, and Sports Tourism invites young men ages 13–18 who are currently enrolled in school to our Back to School Teen Boys Basketball Lock-In!
This overnight event is designed to give teens a fun, safe, and positive environment before the new school year begins. Participants will enjoy basketball competitions, great food, music, and an opportunity to connect with mentors who will share advice about school success, leadership, and planning for the future.
Event Details
- Date: July 24
- Doors Open: 9:00 PM
- Event Time: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Location: 513 Barnes Street, Florence, SC
- Ages: Boys 13–18 (currently enrolled in school)
Activities Include:
- 2-on-2 Basketball Tournament
- 3-Point Shootout
- Hot Shot Tournament
- DJ and music throughout the night
- Food provided
- Mentoring sessions focused on preparing for the upcoming school year and future goals
Prizes
First and second place winners in each basketball competition will receive gift cards valued up to $50.
Registration
- Registration is open July 13–22.
- Space is limited to the first 80 participants.
- No admittance after 10:00 PM.
