SPRING 2026 Adult Softball League
Information:
Entry fee - $375.00 per team
Registration will run from MARCH 1 - APRIL 8
Leagues Offered - Each League will be open to the first 12 teams in each division:
- Co-Ed
- Men's Open
There will be a mandatory team meeting on APRIL 9TH at 7pm - 2nd floor conference room of Freedom Florence Complex Pavilion (1515 Freedom Blvd., Florence, SC 29505).
Rosters, Medical Authorization Release Forms, and Non-Resident Fees are due by the meeting.
Games will begin TUESDAY, APRIL 14TH with a 12 game regular season with a double elimination playoff following the end of the regular season.
1 dozen game balls (USSSA Pro-M 44/375) will be given to each team for games. Each team will be responsible for their own balls each game. More balls will be available for purchase through the league if more is needed.
Bats must be USSSA Softball Approved. *1.20 BPF thumbprint sticker must be on bat and visible. *
Co-Ed Softball Rules
Co-Ed Teams must have the same number of men and women in the lineup and must alternate batting and fielding order.

The following policy governs refund for the Athletic Leagues within the City of Florence.
- Full Refund
- Any time before Registration Ends
- Or up to 5 days after Registration Ends
- Refund minus $6
- After child participates in the program to any extent
- Or between 5 and 10 days after Registration Ends
- Refund minus $25
- Between 10 days after Registration Ends and first league competition
- No Refund
- After league competition begins
Refund Process:
- The request must be made in person or by email.
- Payment Method Credit Card – the money will be added back to your card within 5-7 business day.
- Payment Method Cash/Check- A check will be mailed to you within 15 business days.

The Athletic Department sends out periodic updates throughout the season via email. Updates will be posted on the City of Florence Recreation Department Athletic Website and Twitter page, as well.
