City of Florence Youth Volleyball

The City of Florence Recreation Department offers a fall volleyball league for girls ages 7-17 and boys ages 10-14 based on your age as of September 1st, 2026. The league is an instructional based league that focuses on teaching the fundamentals of volleyball. All practices and games are played at the Pearl Moore Basketball Center located at 500 Barnes Street.

Registration: August 1 to September 6

Age Groups:
Girls:
8u (Ages 7-8)
10u (Ages 9-10)
12u (Ages 1101-12)
14u (Ages 13-14)
17u (Ages 15-17)

Boys:
12u and 14u (Ages 10-14)

Parent meeting will be held September 8th at 6:30pm at Pearl Moore Basketball Center.

Evaluations:
September 10
6pm - 10u Girls
6pm - 12u Girls
7:15pm - 14u Girls
7:15pm - 17u Girls
