The City of Florence Recreation Department, in association with the Florence Youth Basketball League, hosts a youth basketball program for kids in the Florence area. With over 400 youth participating, the league is one of the most popular activities offered in the city area.
Youth ages 5 to 17 years of age can participate. All ages are determined by their age as of September 1st of the registration year.
Your child's age group is whatever age they will be on September 1, 2025.
Registration:
Registration for 6u Basketball runs October 1st to October 30th
Registration for all other age groups will open on November 1st
Evaluations for 6u will be on November 3rd at the Pearl Moore Basketball Center at the Pearl Moore Basketball Center
Evaluations for all other age groups will be on TBD.
